Watering Hours in Effect
- Friendly but important reminder: The City is currently operating with one well offline, and watering restrictions remain in effect.
- Homes with even-numbered addresses may water on even-numbered days, and homes with odd-numbered addresses may water on odd-numbered days. No watering is ever allowed between 12:00pm and 6:00pm.
- Due to excessive watering, the water tank is draining faster than it can replenish. With Well #1 down, recovery time is limited. If tank levels drop too low, conditions can develop that increase the risk of bacterial growth, which could lead to a boil water order — something we are working hard to avoid.
- We ask everyone to please respect the watering schedule and conserve water for the benefit of the entire community. If you observe ongoing violations, please contact City Hall.
- Please note that even once the new well is online, City ordinances will continue to prohibit wasting water. Thank you for your cooperation and for helping protect our water system.
